VITAL CARE INC. MOVES AHEAD WITH CARETEND – FELISA COOK JOINS IT DEPARTMENT
Meridian, MS, Sep 9, 2019 -- Vital Care (vitalcareinc.com) is thrilled to announce Felisa Cook has accepted the new position of IT Implementation Analyst, transitioning from the Financial Services group to the Information Technology department. Felisa’s new job is to support the Vital Systems, powered by CareTend software implementation.
“I will be analyzing and entering client master files, eliminating implementation issues, and providing support for any technical issues franchise locations may encounter,” said Felisa. “I have performed many tasks over the years, and I have learned to apply many different skills in my career at Vital Care. This is another exciting chapter for me and the team.”
Vital Care has adopted WellSky’s CareTend software for intake, pharmacy operations, and revenue cycle functionality. System planning and implementation are being performed in a stepwise manner to maintain efficiencies with a seamless transition to this new platform.
“Felisa brings a level of understanding to this position that only a few people could, so we are all blessed to have her with us in the IT department now,” said Brad Pigott, Director of Information Technology. “She’s not only a great person for this position, she’s just a great person.”
“Troubleshooting payment-claim issues that could occur across all the different insurance payers will be natural for Felisa, since she brings 18 years’ experience in Vital Care’s Financial Services department working intake, billing, and collections processes,” said Ed Eiland, CEO. “She embodies our core values and we appreciate her stepping up to fill this new position.”
